Bike shops are open and we continue to support those who have to work during this time and rely on their bike to get to and from work, especially NHS staff, teachers, delivery riders etc.


Bike sales

You are still able to buy a bike from us - please get in touch to find out more. Customers can contact us by phone, webchat (see the 'help' / 'chat' button on the bottom right of your screen), email or WhatsApp / FaceTime 07743 899 391.


Click and collect & home delivery

Orders from our website are still being fulfilled and you can now get free local delivery on all Tern folding bikes.

You can also access thousands of products to collect from the shop or for home delivery from our partner site and still support your local shop!


Service and repair

We have put in place a system to carry on servicing and repairing bikes strictly by appointment only and with a complete non-contact and therefore distanced drop off, payment and collection process.

Here's how we will continue to support you with essential workshop repairs and servicing under COVID-19 lock down restrictions.


NHS, key workers and emergency services will be given priority and other pre-bookings may be postponed while we serve the people who keep us safe.

Drop off and collection

Once you've made a booking drop off at our Walthamstow shop. Ring the bell and someone will take the bike in - just give us you name. All communications and payment will be done by phone, email and text message. Collection can be made the same way once the job is complete.


Assessment and estimate

Once the mechanic has the bike in the workshop, an inspection will be made. Any essential information required from you about the history of the bike, the problem(s) and your requirements will be obtained by phone, email or text. An estimate will be emailed and we will wait for your confirmation before carrying out any work on the bike. Please see our Service Terms and Conditions for details.


Completion and payment

Once your job is complete, an invoice will be sent by email with a link to pay for the repair online. Once payment has been made you can collect your bike.


As the system is very new we will no doubt have some teething issues, so please bear with us! : )
