Cargo Bike Service
Due to the complexity and size of modern cargo bikes, the servicing requirements are very different. We always provide estimates once we've thoroughly inspected the bike.
For complex assessments a charge may be payable, depending on how much disassembly is required.
Prices range from £125 - £250 with any parts charged for as required. The service schedule is much the same as our Bronze, Silver and Gold services but tailored to the individual bike and includes the updating of firmware for Bosch, Brompton and Shimano electric bike systems.
With all service levels the following are not included and will be quoted for on a case by case basis:
- Replace or service bottom bracket (BB) or headset
- Hub service
- Wheel rebuild
- Hydraulic brake bleed
- Suspension service
- Remove stuck seatpost or stem
You will have a chance to review, discuss and approve the quote before any work is carried out.
We can work on most cargo bikes that can fit though our door (it's approx 88cm wide) but please check with us first if you are unsure it will fit.
