Ideal for commuting, this Lightweight and Compact 3-speed Hub Gear Dahon Folding Bike is excellent value for money. Lightweight Aluminium Frame and Fork, 16" Kinetix Pro Wheels with 3 - Speed Rear Hub gear. This is Custom built from a Frameset and Forks, but using 16 x 1.75" Schwalbe Marathon Tyres makes it more suitable for the state of our roads compared to the original model. Reducing the gearing a little over the original model also improves the bike for usage around town. This was a highly respected bike when they were originally on the market, and sold in good numbers being a lot lighter than Brompton. Now of course it's only a fraction of the price of a Brompton.
